Including but not limited to minimizing safety risks for all employees, customers and suppliers.You'll communicate verbally and in writing with various management on store operations in a very quick timeline, especially any changes or items that may adversely affect the store's operations.You'll manage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the storePromptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnessesWhat you need to bring to the table?You must be at least 18 years of age.You must be able to perform basic calculations in order to make changes, complete shift reports, and account for a variety of products during vendor check-ins.You must have the ability to validate identification prior to selling products such as tobacco and/or alcohol (as per required regulations)You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and carry cases of milk cartons and soft drinks, beer and juice containers through proper lifting techniquesAbility to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies.You must be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.You must have the ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the store)You must be willing to perform general housekeeping duties as neededYou must be willing to sit or stand for prolonged periods during your shift.Flexibility is key, whether it be the days or shifts you are available it is a key to our success.It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
